We are a proudly independent, family-run Thai restaurant in the heart of Godalming, where our Thai heritage meets the best of Britain's seasonal ingredients.
Inspired by the vibrant food culture of Bangkok, we combine traditional Thai cooking with British produce and a contemporary approach. From our British beef to our fragrant curries, every dish celebrates bold flavours and our passion for great food.

Two Brothers. One Kitchen. A Shared Passion.
Growing up in Britain, brothers Arm and Ot spent their childhood in their mother's Thai restaurant, surrounded by the sights, aromas and flavours of a bustling Thai kitchen.
Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion for food and hospitality, inspiring Arm to create The Greedy Elephant.
Today, as owner and Head Chef, Arm leads the kitchen alongside his brother Ot, who brings warmth and hospitality to the dining room. Together, they celebrate their Thai heritage through traditional flavours, contemporary cooking and the best of Britain's seasonal ingredients.
